1. Who we are

Bug Hutch Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the BugHutch Digital service and the AdCore AI acquisition intelligence platform. Our contact address is support@bughutchdigital.com.

2. Data we collect

When you use our free acquisition audit, we collect: your law firm name, city and state, practice area, monthly Google Ads spend band, website address (optional), and work email address. We do not collect payment information through the audit form.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to generate your acquisition audit analysis, to follow up with you regarding your audit results, and to contact you about the AdCore AI service where you have expressed interest. We do not use your data for any unrelated marketing. You may opt out of follow-up contact at any time by emailing support@bughutchdigital.com.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (delivering the audit you requested) and, where applicable, consent (follow-up communications). You have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party processors to operate this service: Anthropic (API) — your firm inputs are sent to the Anthropic API to generate your audit analysis. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. Supabase — your email address and audit result data are stored in our Supabase database, hosted on infrastructure within the European Economic Area or with appropriate safeguards.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of collection, unless you request earlier deletion. After this period your data is permanently deleted from our systems.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict our processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bughutchdigital.com.
